Australian-hosted. No offshore replication of operational data.
SOCI Act
Positioned against critical infrastructure obligations, including supply chain hazard.
Safeworking
No interface to signalling or train control. RailExchange cannot issue, alter or affect a movement authority.
Criticality
As the common integration point it will matter to planning and live running. We design, operate and contract on that basis.
Degraded mode
Every relayed transaction has a defined fallback to the bilateral channel it replaced. RailExchange is never the only path a message can take.

Shared on your terms, and only on your terms.
You own what you contribute
Participant data is never sold, licensed or on-shared. If you stop subscribing, you keep your data and the mapping we built for you.
Access by role, not by company
Every company sees its own data and the reference data everyone shares. Anything more is granted by rule, attached to the role a party holds on a movement.
Every change attributed
Changes are recorded with who made them and when. Any record can show its history, and which companies are able to see it.
Commercial detail stays private
Pricing, customer identity and consist detail beyond what the path requires are visible to the owning party only. A freight owner sees its own units, not its competitors' on the same train.
This website
This site is a static brochure. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, loads nothing from third parties, and collects nothing — the only way to contact us from it is an ordinary email.
